About

Jay - Owner/Welder

Best parents ever! They took us to all 48 states in this camper.... all 3 kids and a dog.

Jay is the owner, designer and welder of OVRLND campers. Since the age of one, he has spent over a thousand nights sleeping in a camper. Whether he wakes up in the Little America parking lot in Wyoming or surrounded by cows in the Arizona desert, his days on the road are always good ones. Throughout his travels he took note of everything he wanted in a camper and how he could make it the perfect tool for any adventure. With his background in mechanical engineering he has always been tinkering with random projects. It is from this experience that he was able to design a strong and lightweight framework for you to take and make your own. He knows the OVRLND topper is capable of making any road a home. He loves working with people to design their perfect adventure rig!

Around the shop, she's has the answer for all your questions about campers as well as camping all around the Southwest (and adventuring in the Grand Canyon). She makes sure everything happens on the proper schedule, ensuring every build runs smoothly and every customer is taken care of.

More than just a master of logistics, she is also a dedicated caretaker of our crew, making sure everyone gets a well-deserved treat on their birthday. For every question, every scheduled task, and every employee's well-being, she is our ultimate resource.

Alan - Camper Know It All and Shop Manager

Alan knows all! He is the all-seeing eye of our operation, a workflow whisperer who single-handedly manages the day-to-day chaos and ensures every camper is hammered out with what can only be described as a frightening level of efficiency.

When not actively bending the space-time continuum of production schedules, Alan is out in the Grand Canyon, conquering trails. It is there, in the wild, that he contemplates the deeper meaning of life, of which he has also already figured out the answer.

He brings a similar level of intense focus to his personal passions, specifically his appreciation for a good katana. It’s a hobby that makes perfect sense for a man who treats every production deadline like a surgical strike and every camper like a masterpiece of disciplined craftsmanship.

Jon - Customer service wiz
