HEADS UP: These units ship directly from Planar in Canada, not from our shop. That means with current trade relations you may be subject to a tariff charge on delivery. We're seeing anywhere from $120-180 per unit being due upon delivery. Be aware and plan accordingly.
Lead time is 2-4 weeks. Units ordered through us will ship directly from Planar.

Heat your rig with a portable heater! Bring it with you when it's chilly, and leave it at home when you don't need it! This heater is designed to be set on the ground outside when you get to camp and is built into a weather-resistant case to be operated in all conditions. Easily add a port to your camper so you can connect the hose and start pumping heat in. Works great up to 8,200ft and it's super quiet!
These units burn either diesel or kerosene (or a blend), and will heat a small space rapidly. If you do choose to burn just kerosene, you may see a reduced lifespan on the fuel pump (diesel is a lubricant, whereas kerosene is not).
The 2D model is a 2kW unit using 60mm (~2") ducting and 4D model is a 4kW unit using 75mm (~3") ducting. You can check out our heater inlet ports to install on your camper for the respective ducting sizes here. The 4D is also a bit physically larger (see dimensions in the tech specs below).
Included in Package:
- Heater Unit w/ Duct
- Dial Thermostat (Wired)
- Power Cable with Ring Connectors
***BATTERY NOT INCLUDED***
Note: Startup of the heater draws just over 10amps, so ensure your battery setup or cigarette port is rated for over 10 amps. Most 12v plugs or "cigarette lighter ports" on power units like Jackery/Bluetti/etc. are only rated for 10a and this heater will trip those breakers. You'll want to connect this heater directly to a battery's terminals (direct or via a fuse block) or use a power unit that can output at least 15a of DC current. The Bluetti Elite 300 is an example of a unit with a 30a DC output port (not necessarily an endorsement, just an example).
Also you should get a Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitor because life is precious and worth $16 at a hardware store.
